National president of Bharatiya Janata Party Jagat Prakash Nadda on January 09 held a massive road show in Bardhaman.
The Assembly elections are due in the state in April-May and BJP has launched a massive aggressive campaign to oust CM Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress government in the state.
Earlier, Nadda visited a farmer's house and had lunch there.
He was accompanied by state BJP president Dilip Ghosh and other leaders.
The BJP and its ally, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), have taken charge of Andhra Pradesh following a decisive TDP victory in the assembly polls. Chandrababu Naidu was sworn in as Chief Minister for the fourth time, with PM Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, and JP Nadda attending the ceremony. Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan was sworn in as Deputy Chief Minister, and Nara Lokesh, Naidu's son, also took the oath along with 22 others. The TDP's support was crucial in helping the BJP form the government.
