'People will beat us with sticks': JJP leader urges party to break alliance with BJP

Ahead of no-confidence motion by Congress against Manohar Lal Khattar-led Haryana government, BJP ally Jannayak Janata Party's (JJP) MLA Devender Singh Babli opined that the party should withdraw support to BJP government over farmers' issue.

He said, "Such a situation has come people don't let us enter the village...People will beat us with the sticks.

We need to get armour to protect ourselves among people.

Either the government should resolve farmer's issue in the next 15 days otherwise we must take back our support.

If with my vote alone, the government falls then I'll do it today itself.

What message will go out?

The whole party should take a stand."
