Prime Minister Rishi Sunak says he has "enormous respect" for nurses but the 19% pay rise requested by the union is "obviously unaffordable".

It comes as nurses in England, Wales and Northern Ireland are set to strike for two days in December in what is set to be their biggest walkout in the NHS's history.
