Karnataka Raj Bhavan gets hoax bomb threat; Vidhana Soudha Police Station files case | Oneindia News
A security scare erupted in Bengaluru at Raj Bhavan.
On Monday night, an unidentified caller issued a bomb threat to the Governor's residence, claiming that an explosive device had been planted within the premises.
However, the swift response from law enforcement and the bomb detection team revealed the call to be a hoax.
The Vidhana Soudha Police Station has filed a case in connection with the incident.
Bengaluru's ongoing monsoon has severely waterlogged at least 180 prominent roads, including key areas near Hebbal Circle and the Outer Ring Road (ORR). Despite previous warnings, including a fatal incident at the KR Circle underpass, municipal authorities have failed to address the issue. Ongoing construction projects, pothole-ridden roads, and poor drainage maintenance contribute to the problem. The situation has led to traffic chaos, vehicle damage, and safety hazards across the city.
