CBI to probe Manipur stripping, Centre asks SC to shift trial outside state

The Centre informed the Supreme Court on Thursday that it had ordered a CBI probe, on the request of the Manipur government, into the horrific incident of two women being paraded naked on May 4 and requested the court to shift the case outside the state while fast-tracking completion of trial in six months.
