Karnataka Health Minister orders mandatory Covid testing for adults with ILI and SARI; Covid helpline to be launched. Covid positivity rate in Karnataka remains at 3.82%. Minister directs officials to closely monitor Covid positive cases and follow guidelines from Technical Advisory Committee. Private and government hospitals instructed to conduct Covid testing for ILI/SARI patients. Decrease in Covid cases expected next week in Karnataka. ​​It is expected that the trend of decreasing Covid cases may start next week in Karnataka.
