Centre notifies PIB’s fact check unit

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has officially established the Centre's 'fact check unit' in accordance with IT rules, as announced by the Press Information Bureau. This development follows a recent decision by the Bombay High Court to not prevent the Centre from setting up the FCU, a matter now under scrutiny by the Supreme Court.
