A health minister has given her backing to Sir Keir Starmer, as Elon Musk hit out at the prime minister and his government over its response to grooming gangs in the UK.

A 14-year-old boy was fatally stabbed on a bus in Woolwich, south-east London, on Tuesday. Police were called at 2:28 pm to Woolwich Church Road near the A205. Despite treatment, the teenager died shortly after medics arrived. No arrests have been made. Deputy Commander Louise Sargent called it a "horrendous crime" and acknowledged local concerns.
